When Life Dies – Has our attitude toward life shifted? Not just in the U.S., but around the world, attitudes seem to be changing. In many parts of the world, it is now permissible to practice euthanasia. A significant portion of the population is starting to think it is a good idea. Several states in the U.S. have attempted to pass laws to prohibit an abortion procedure called partial birth abortion. Many of those laws have been struck down in federal courts. There is something in man that aches at the passing of life. Have we become so calloused that we can observe the passing of a life and feel nothing? Is the Bible pro-life or pro-choice? Did you know that God gave a very specific command about this question?

No Conscience, No Shame – Is it possible we’ve brought up a generation of kids with no conscience nor shame? Will their conduct be regulated only by the benefit to themselves? Will they give no thought to right or wrong? Is this generation of kids unable to see human life as no more important than an animal? How have we come to that point? The values kids are being taught in school are an awareness of animal rights and women’s rights, with environmental concerns. But these are political values with no right or wrong associated with them. If we continue to allow schools to teach values to our children, the schools will teach the government’s values. Where will this kind of approach to morals finally end?
