If, when we die, we go to heaven to be with the Lord, or go down to hell to be with Satan the Devil, why does Jesus need to return to Earth? The Apostles’ Creed, accepted by many Christians, states that Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead. Will all who have been in heaven for hundreds or thousands of years be put back in their bodies so they can be resurrected and then judged by Jesus when He comes again? Does that make sense? It is time we answer the question: What is going to happen when Jesus returns?
