How would you feel if someone referred to you as a humanitarian? It has many different faces and can present itself in many different ways. We usually associate the word with someone who takes an active interest in the welfare of mankind—a positive connotation. But there is a dark side. It is related to a theology that denies the divinity of Christ, and to a philosophy that says man can perfect his nature through his own efforts, apart from God. It seems the world has decided that this is so. What does the Bible have to say?
