Eyes to See / In His Name
Eyes to See – One moment there was nothing. The next moment there was everything that ever would be. Was it created or did it just evolve? Phillip Johnson in his book, Darwin on Trial, summarizes nicely: The eye did not evolve blindly. It was designed. It was designed by someone who himself could see,
He that formed the eye, shall he not see? (Psalm 94:9) It was designed by an intelligence that knew there was something to see. And he gave it to man, because he wanted man to see.
In His Name – What is the meaning of this one phrase in the Lord’s Prayer,
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name? Is it related to the third commandment or to the covenant we have with Him since baptism? This is an awesome explanation of the real meaning of this part of the Lord’s Prayer and how it relates to our Christian walk.
