Our nation has become more and more secular. Prayer was once the norm in our schools. That was stopped because of Constitutional concerns over separation of Church and State. We’ve allowed Constitutional provisions for separation of Church and State to be abused beyond belief. We abused the Bill of Rights. So when the President calls for a national day of prayer, it is extremely important. We stand at a crossroads. Will we acknowledge God? How do we pray about a war like the one in Iraq?
