This entry is part 1 of 5 in the series The Epistle of James (Mardy Cobb)

Hello everyone and welcome to the Christian Educational Ministries Weekend Bible Study.

Tonight we present teacher, speaker, author and Pastor of The Church of God Restored in Simi Valley, California—Mardy Cobb. Join us now for part one of an insightful and informative study on the Epistle of James.

If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
