This entry is part 8 of 33 in the series The Book of Genesis (Wes White)

It was 13 years ago today that the twin towers of the World Trade Center were brought down by radical Islamic terrorists, killing nearly 3,000 people.

Our world was rocked that day and some think it was a harbinger that God allowed so that we, as a country, might wake up and amend our corrupt and godless ways.

In fact, church attendance rose dramatically in the weeks that followed, but as things got back to normal, most people slipped back into their irreligious routines.

Can we expect more warnings from God before he executes his judgments on the world? God spoke this to Jeremiah:

And I will utter my judgments against them concerning all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands.

Jeremiah 1:16 KJ2000

It’s time for America to repent and beg for God’s mercy before His judgments begin crashing down on us.

I’m Ronald Dart. Stand by for part 8 of Wes White’s study on the Book of Genesis.
