This entry is part 4 of 33 in the series The Book of Genesis (Wes White)

The Book of Genesis is, essentially, an overview of the life and times of the Patriarchs and their offspring who became known as the Israelites. Their story in the book of Genesis spans about 2,500 years in its 50 chapters and is the foundation upon which the rest of the Bible is built.

The first chapter, which we’ve been covering, is an introduction to that overview and it covers the first six days of the re-creation.

And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 1:31 KJ2000

How pleasing it must have been for God to be able to share His perfect creation with Adam and Eve.

I’m Ronald Dart. Now let’s listen to Wes White in part 4 of his study on the Book of Genesis.
