Why do we do the things we do? Why do we believe the things we believe? Do we just go along to get along?

Isn’t it odd that so many people seldom wonder or question themselves about their personal beliefs? Why do you suppose that is? Could it be a lack of intellectual curiosity or could it be that some may be afraid of the truth?

In John 8:31, Jesus said: If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

In our recent Bible studies on Genesis we have been hearing about Nimrod. His machinations have been hidden in plain sight for millennia, yet so many have no idea how influential he has been.

Wes White was born and raised in Hammond, Indiana and received a B.A. in Communications from Ambassador College, Pasadena, California. He has taught speech and business courses in a variety of locations and is an often-requested speaker in congregations all over the country. Wes is also a writer and has written dozens of papers on key doctrines and teachings of the Church of God as well as a novel Clan of Lilith: the Oldest Conspiracy.
