And then there was Nimrod.

Now, here is an ambitious fellow. He was known as the mighty hunter before the Lord in Genesis 10:9 and he was the original founder and builder of the city of Babylon.

It’s interesting to note that Babylon and it’s inherent mystery religions are mentioned more than 280 times throughout the Bible for the purpose of dissuading people from following her beguiling ways.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
