Is it possible to give things away and yet become richer? Is it possible to hold on to everything you have and wind up poor anyhow? This is the paradox of generosity—and it has a lot to do with relationships.

No man is ever going to get rich without other people—working with you or for you. Selfishness alienates. But generosity attracts and, as a result, we do better in those cooperative efforts.

This is but one of the lessons that help to make life work that we find explained in this look into the Book of Proverbs.
