There’s one very special statement from Ecclesiastes 9 that deserves to be put up on a wall where you can read it every day. It reads:
Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you go.
What Solomon is saying is that the only chance you have to get anything done is in the here and now. You only have a limited amount of time to get it done, and then it is over. How can we use this knowledge to make our lives work?
