US News & World Report, in their first issue of the new year, offered, not a list of resolutions, but 50 ways to improve your life in the coming year.
Some of them were actually useful. (Not many, but some.) Some of the ideas they came up with might raise your eyebrows. There were, though, a few really good improvements to your life like going to the library or engaging in random acts of kindness.
I would like to add some of my own ideas to that list, beginning with a recommendation of a must-read book.
