What I am going to tell you in this program may shock you. But it is my job to put the idea before you as clearly and as honestly as I know how. My job is not to change your mind. My job is to be sure you understand what the Bible is saying on this so you can deal with the issues it raises.

Early in Genesis, God considers the invention of Man, and the question we are asking is, in simple terms, what for? Why Man? Also, why is Man like he is and not some other way.

There seems to be an assumption among those who read the account of the creation of Man in Genesis 1 that what we see in Man today is a finished creature, actually in the image of God. But is Man a finished work? Here is what the Apostle John has to say on the theme in question.
