The writer of Hebrews tells us to [b]e not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. But did God ever personally visit instead of sending his messengers and angels?

God seems to have enjoyed his friends in the Old Testament. God is a great artist, and the Earth is his work. Why should he not enter it if he so chooses? And how do these encounters relate to the Book of Hebrews?
