CEM has chosen the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach area as the location for the 2007
Feast of Tabernacles. We announced another location, but due to housing
constraints, made the decision to move back to the Florida Coast for 2007.
The Feast will be held in the beautiful Emerald Coast Conference Center on
Okaloosa Island (Ft. Walton Beach.) The ECCC works well for the CEM Feast
because of its layout. The ECCC has plenty of space for morning Church Services
in addition to having rooms for many YEA classrooms, and three rooms for daily
seminars.
Our decision to move back to Florida was
made because of the abundance of housing in the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach areas.
Plenty of housing is available from the single hotel room to the five bedroom
vacation home. Because of CEM’s youth program (YEA,) accommodations for
families is a must. Of course any time Florida is mentioned, one can’t help but talk
about beaches. The Destin Area has about 24 miles of sugar white beaches and
emerald green waters. This area has earned praise by Southern Living readers,
winning the magazine's Favorite Beach in the South award for eight
consecutive years.
We will add more information to our Feast Web Pages as we continue our planning
for the 2007 Feast.

For us, this is not merely a Jewish holiday, but one of the "Appointed Times of God," given to remind us every year of an important part of His plan and deepens our understanding of the work and ministry of Jesus Christ.
